All Seasons Vegan - By Tammy Robinson

Christmas Candy Cane Hot Cocoa

Tis the season for a nice cup of hot cocoa right?! What do you think of when you drink hot chocolate? I think of my childhood or when our daughters were growing up. Every big snowfall or winter outing always called for it one.
These last few years, I’ve added a splash of Christmas to that simple cup of hot cocoa. The perfect festive ingredients are peppermint and candy cane to take that simple hot cocoa to holiday yummy, I must say. Oh and one must always add that sprinkle of marshmallows right?! Pile on those marshmallows, I always say lol. In this hot cocoa I added some vegan candy cane marshmallows.
Some of the fondest memories when our girls were young was when we went to winter carnivals, tobogganing and skating at a public or outdoor rink. That good old hot cocoa always seemed to be the best ending to a perfect winter day. One cup would warm their little bodies up and certainly put a smile on their face.
For you adults that like the warm glowing type of holiday drink then simply swap the peppermint essential oil with a shot of Peppermint Twist Vodka.
That’ll heat you up after a cold winter day lol. So get outside and enjoy this beautiful playful winter season and pour yourself a nice hot cup of cocoa when you return home. Cheers
