The Big “MOFA’s”
Big MOFA’s are My Motivating Factors. We need to have motivation to accomplish anything in life. The big questions we must have for ourselves are, do I understand the reason behind the reason for things I want and do? What is the deeper meaning for what I want to achieve? Knowing the answers to the “why behind the why “ is the core principle for successfully achieving ones goals. The physical awareness is the movement of our body to sense the wellbeing of an accomplishment. The end result is to hopefully feel the joy and to feel the happiness for something we have done. Why else would we do something, if we receive nothing in return right.
To gain back some control in our crazy busy life, we must focus on the roadblocks that are “In Our Control”. Attention and intention keeps us grounded, which need to be placed on the anchors that help us. The anchors will keep us focused and will guide us along the journey to the final desired outcome. Aside from the anchors our goals need to be specific, measurable and attainable. We need to understand our boundaries but not to create more of them by adding drama in our life with negative beliefs. Anchors can be; music, photos, friends support, visual reminders, having a daily planner and doing exercises and duties. Some anchors work better for some than others and patience will help with troubleshooting what anchors suit you best.
Here are some examples of anchors coached to some of my clients who wish to eat and feel healthier.
Before you get started, sit down and write as many reasons of the “Why” you want this! The more reasons you have the better the outcome. For example, I have 3 strong reasons for being Vegan. 1. for the animals 2. for the planet 3. for my health. All excellent reasons that are very meaningful to me. I have many anchors for different things to accomplish, but sometimes I like to focus on one thing at a time which makes it easier to focus and easier to attain.
- Be Intuitive and curious about what is happening to your mind/body- no judgment!
- Eat Foods that give you Energy!
- Chew Chew Chew Food rather than eating unconsciously.
- kill the ANT’S (automatic negative thoughts) simply write them down and challenge them with new positive thoughts.
